The flipped classroom: Improving critical thinking for critical reading of EFL learners in higher education

چکیده

The immersion of the flipped classroom teaching model in blended and online language learning is indispensable. purpose this study was to propose improvement critical thinking reading through EFL (English as a Foreign Language) learners higher education. A quasi-experimental design used improve skills based on framework for with paired t-test pre-test post-test. participants were 37 second-semester students English Academic Purposes class. results show that enhanced students’ aspects accuracy, clarity, precision, depth, relevance, logic from mean score pre-tests (12.4865) post-tests (18.3243). Students had positive perception implementation terms self-directed learning. This implies needs supportive environment can allow have self-study prior class so be effective synergize application classrooms reading.
